The Role Of Decorative Mirrors
In my career as a home improvement consultant I have written a number or reviews and articles about antique decorative mirrors. I have shared about how to use them to add some sense of space and lights into the room. I still have a few more tips and tricks up my sleeve to share with you.
I will quickly provide and overview about these decorative items so you can get up and going with using them around your home.
First and foremost mirrors are used to check your image and see if you are happy with yourself i.e. the way you are dressed, made up or anything in between.
Other than that they are widely used to create some sense of space in a smaller room. In addition to that, they are also used to add more light into a “not so well lit” room.
There are a number of options to choose your decorative mirror from. For instance, you can choose a oversized, Venetian, handcrafted, wall, metal, antique, wrought and full length floor mirror to mention just a few.
So if you have a small room and you can afford to buy some mirrors use them to cover the walls. A draw back to this is their vulnerability to being broken or dirtied by the kids and even some visitors. To combat this problem simply use a mirrored tile, which often comes with a design overlay.
Another option is to have oil rubbed bronze framed oval bathroom mirrors on a mantle or just add a mirror tile highlights along some parts of the wall.
Do not work yourself too hard trying to come up with the best look with your deco mirrors. Just do the best you can and it will all come together some how. If you want some ideas on what to do exactly use search engine to find other great resources online
